• Aqua

  Purified water

  Water is the natural foundation of a cream. After all, water makes up 70% of our body. It is the main component of both our organism and our skin. For this reason, we do not use plant juices. Our creams are a combination of water and oils. However, cosmetic products do not simply use tap water, as tap water contains two things: minerals and microorganisms. Therefore, distilled water is used in cosmetics production.

  

• Pentylene Glycol

  Moisturizer with antimicrobial properties

  Pentylene Glycol helps preserve our Hautcreme+ while offering more than conventional preservatives. It provides hydration and enhances the delivery of active ingredients into the skin. In professional terms, it’s known as a "penetration enhancer"—a substance that facilitates deeper absorption. Additionally, our Pentylene Glycol is sustainably derived from sugarcane and corn and is ECOCERT-certified.

• Dimethyl Isosorbide

  Enhances skin absorption

  Dimethyl Isosorbide is a naturally derived solvent obtained from renewable corn sugar. In cosmetics, it acts as a penetration enhancer, improving the absorption of active ingredients into the skin. Known for its excellent safety profile, Dimethyl Isosorbide is not only used in cosmetic formulations but also in topical medications, such as those designed to deliver anti-acne agents effectively.
